Healthy Hospitals: Think …GE Way

                          image
The company that have lasting legacy in development of innovative products and leadership approaches now shifting their resources from traditional way looking at any ideas to green innovations for the better efficiency, environment safety and cost effectiveness. It’s not too late for health care providers to take step ahead for a green hospital model system.

The next wave that playing continuously in mind that how green technology will make the differences in the health care world. What would be the possible outcomes measured while we will deploy those kind of Green-Tech pieces for advance care? How it would generate extra bucks for the hospitals while keeping the patient centered and quality care on top of organizational goal?

It’s not a way we should work together to achieve organizational goal, it requires commitment to deliver valued customer service attitude in any circumstances. With respect to The GE Show, I have found the most probable issues in the ED room should be resource and tech management that's coming in way of treating the patients the way they want to be. We have latest advances in our ED and engaged clinical staffs. However, the way patient should be treated is very disappointing when we observe the real scenario and study national statics. Now, time is to review our system and elements that could generate the positive outcomes with use of minimal resource, integration and most important evidence based clinical decision support system. That’s true, successfully implemented EMR system will make big difference in outcome as well as bringing the next level of advance care in any hospital. Though, the conceivable curve to achieve fully paperless, integrated and interoperable system with boundless data exchange capacity is not easy.

As I am experiencing the real world challenges in EMR implementation, I am envisioning how the next level of healthy care will shape with internal changes and external trends such as medicinal advances, bioinformatics, health informatics, payment system, infrastructure/green technology.

The Next Step

Everyday comes with the new challenges and opportunities that can keep us one leap ahead from where we are today. Do we all of us care to think about future of Health Care? As with uncertain future, ever raising cost of managing care services and convoluted payment system, Health Care expenditure is going to seize 22% of total US federal budget in coming year. The next step in health Care is more about looking from the window of opportunity to find conceivable curves which will able to preserve the real essence of Health Care services for humanity through the idea of embracing cost saver and meaningful health technologies, policies and social practices.
